Established in March of 2013, Brix offers a unique dining experience where customer service is priority and culinary passion stands out in every dish that is plated. Brix also hosts private events in the upper dining area which can accommodate up to 120 guests. The trendy bar scene also draws many with entertainment every night of the week. Candace Hodnett, owner of Brix Restaurant & Pizza Bar, has been in the food and beverage industry for 15 years. Candace’s career in hospitality began in college, where she took up bartending in South Florida. Her passion for food developed shortly after returning from college where she worked her way up the ladder from bartending to management, spending almost ten years within multiple venues under the restaurant group “China Grill Management”. Working for a large restaurant group in NYC helped Candace refine the skills necessary to fulfill her dream of restaurant ownership.

A true entrepreneur at heart, Candace’s dream came true by the time she reached 30 years old when in 2013 Brix Restaurant & Pizza bar was born. With Brix now going into its fourth year of operation, Candace has worked hard to maintain her dream of creating a unique, comfortable, hometown dining experience for the neighborhood to enjoy.
